March 6-8: FresYes has some great things for you to do!

Another weekend is rolling into the Central Valley, and you know what that means, time to get out, explore, and see what’s happening around town! From live music and food events to community gatherings and hidden gems worth checking out, Fresno always finds a way to keep the calendar full. If you're looking for something fun to do, this weekend is shaping up to be a great one to grab some friends, bring the family, and enjoy everything our local scene has to offer. 🎉
And speaking of big things happening in Fresno, one of the city’s biggest annual celebrations is almost here. Fresyes Fest 2026 returns to Downtown Fresno on Saturday, March 21 from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM, transforming Fulton Street into a massive block party packed with local food trucks, craft beer, live music on multiple stages, and hundreds of vendors celebrating the best of the Central Valley. 🍻 The festival, organized by Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Company along with Fresno Street Eats and Vendor Village, has grown into one of the region’s most anticipated community events and is free and open to all ages. FRIDAY
1. First Fridays at Crow & Wolf
Kick off the weekend at First Fridays at Crow & Wolf Brewing Co. where great food, cold drinks, and a lively community vibe come together. Fresno Street Eats will be bringing a lineup of food trucks and local vendors, making it the perfect spot to grab dinner, hang out with friends, and enjoy a fun evening from 4–10 PM at one of the Valley’s favorite breweries. 🍻🌮
2. Art Hop
Downtown Fresno comes alive today for Art Hop, bringing a night filled with local art, live music, food trucks, and vendors. Enjoy featured artwork from Jackie of Stitch of Red while live performances from The Shantel Band (7 PM) and Tasteholder.wav (9 PM) keep the energy going. The event starts at 6 PM, is free to attend, and welcomes all ages, with the beer garden becoming 21+ after 9 PM. ☘️🎶

3. Monster Jam
Engines will roar and dirt will fly when Monster Jam rolls into the Save Mart Center on March 6 from 7–10 PM. Watch world-class drivers push massive trucks like Grave Digger® and El Toro Loco® to the limit with high-flying stunts, intense racing, and head-to-head showdowns that bring nonstop excitement for fans of all ages. SATURDAY
1. Get Your Rear in Gear - Fresno 5K Run/Walk for Colon Cancer
Lace up and cheer on the community at Get Your Rear in Gear Fresno happening Saturday, March 7 at Woodward Park. This inspiring 5K run/walk raises awareness and support for colon cancer prevention, research, and patient programs. While registration has already closed, those who signed up will be hitting the course to make a difference, and the community is encouraged to come out, show support, and help celebrate the cause. 🏃♂️💙

2. Fresno Home & Garden Show
The Fresno Home & Garden Show returns March 6–8 from 10 AM to 5 PM daily at the Fresno Fairgrounds, bringing a full weekend of inspiration for home and garden lovers. Explore booths filled with beautiful houseplants, succulents, unique pottery, and creative ideas to refresh your indoor and outdoor spaces. Whether you're upgrading your patio, adding greenery to your home, or simply browsing for inspiration, it’s a great event to explore and connect with local vendors. 🌿🪴

3. Girl Scout Cookie Showdown
Celebrate Girl Scout Cookie Season at River Park this Saturday as Fresno Street Eats teams up with Girl Scouts of Central California South for a sweet twist on International Women’s Day. Five local dessert vendors will debut special treats made with Girl Scout Cookies, while Girl Scout troops will be on-site selling cookies and connecting with the community. Stop by from 11 AM to 4 PM to try the creative desserts, support the Girl Scouts, and enjoy an afternoon of sweet local flavors.🍪👩

SUNDAY
1. St. Patrick’s Cake Decorating
Celebrate the season with a little creativity at the St. Patrick’s Cake Decorating Class on Sunday, March 8 at 3:00 PM at Crop Paper Scissors Fresno, 783 E Barstow Ave, Ste D. This beginner-friendly class will guide participants step-by-step through filling, frosting, and decorating a festive St. Patrick’s–themed cake using colorful buttercream and fun designs. 2. Easter Bunny Photos at Fashion Fair Mall
The Easter Bunny returns to Fashion Fair Mall starting March 6, inviting families to stop by Center Court at 645 E Shaw Ave in Fresno for festive spring photos and a fun seasonal tradition.
