I think the last time I got writers' block was three years ago, I seem to recall it being on a fairly important evening like the night before Thanksgiving or Christmas eve, something like that. Not that I write a whole lot here in the introduction of each week's newsletter but something is something. Down below I've got some writings for you on decluttering and organizing your home... I was a bit unsure about including them, they seemed less than exciting to read on a New Year's morning. However, I checked in with Emma (now that girl is a writer) and she encouraged me to keep them in, she says a lot of people organize and declutter to start their new year - so keep them I did.  

When is the last time you drove an hour or two East and took a day to play in the snow? It's been years for me, but I'm committed to doing it this January.  I began my research with those that I know do this sort of thing regularly.  Here is what I know so far.  A.) invest in some snow clothes.  No one, especially your kid (or you), wants to be cold and wet.  B.) Unless you have a mean 4x4 and know some off the road trails well, go to a snow park or someplace that is set up to receive sledders and snowman makers  C) If you go to a snow park you need a snow park pass (I have no idea where you get one but I promise in a future FresYes Insider I will get you the 411   D) Bring a thermos or two of hot cocoa along with cups and napkins E). It's a great day trip
