What's Hot & Happening this Weekend?
By FresYes Writing Team

With fall weather in full swing it looks like it’s going to be a great weekend to get outside as long as you don’t mind dodging a few rain clouds here and there especially on Saturday!
Can you feel it? That excitement in the air? It’s not quite the holidays but there’s this vibe that has us reaching out to friends and family. We’re looking forward to the holidays and making plans, reconnecting with old friends, scheduling dates, deciding which events we HAVE to go to, which we just can’t, and then those that we’re desperately trying to rearrange our lives in order to make. It’s a struggle but we love it!
It’s a wonderful time of the year!
FRIDAY: SWEDE FEST 23
We have to say it, and not just because we’re a sponsor, but because it’s just so much fun. Your Friday Night should be spent in only one place and that is Swede Fest at the Tower! The event is free but you should RSVP at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/swede-fest-23-the-finale-tickets-709238691017. We can’t wait!
Friday, November 17 at The Tower Theatre in FresnoFree, All Ages, Doors 6:30 p.m., Films 7 p.m.
We guarantee that when you are in a theater full of FresYes minded people, enjoying, supporting, and laughing at the amazing and artistic work that all of these incredible people have done you will agree – Swede Fest ROCKS! Our FresYes community ROCKS!
SATURDAY: BULLDOG FOOTBALL
Yes, Fresno State had a bad week last week. And yes, the Fiesta Bowl is now out of reach. But let’s look at the positive. We can still win the Mountain West Conference Title and a return trip to the LA Bowl, right? For Fresno State to have a chance, its best-case scenario is to win its remaining two games. Other bowl games we might have invites to include the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, the New Mexico Bowl, the Arizona Bowl and the Hawaii Bowl.
The Dogs need your support as they take on the New Mexico Lobos.Game time is at 7:30 PM at Valley Children’s Stadium.
