What's Hot & Happening

Every year in October, more than 600,000 people come together for two weeks to enjoy the valley’s largest annual event – The Big Fresno Fair. That is, until this year. As with most large events of 2020, the Big Fresno Fair was forced to cancel due to COVID-19. While the typical fair experience will have to wait until next year, in an attempt to adjust and adapt to a safer option, “Drive-Thru Eats” has been created. "Drive-Thru Eats" is a 10-day food series featuring 18 fair food booths, vendor booths, popular fair entertainers and music. This event starts today (Friday) and runs through Oct 18th. Check out the Big Fresno Fair's website for the daily schedule and line up.Below are the important details to know before you go:
Event is “cashless preferred”; while cash will be accepted, debit and credit cards are preferred.
Face coverings will be required for whoever is ordering and/or receiving food.
Enter off of Kings Canyon Avenue into the Carnival Lot; attendees will exit onto Butler Avenue.
Fast Pass Entry is off of Kings Canyon; watch for signage.
Attendees must remain in their vehicles at all times.
Restrooms will be available; face coverings and social distancing will be required.
Attendees can park in the “Eat & Go” Area located in the Chance Avenue Parking Lot to park and enjoy their Fair food.

While we can’t enjoy the traditional Big Fresno Fair like we had hoped, we can still support the hardworking 4-H and FFA students in Fresno County! Introducing the first-ever Virtual Jr. Livestock Auction. Market beef, goats, sheep and swine will be included in the virtual auction. Join ONLINE for the beginning today (Friday) at 11:00 a.m. through Monday. Click the photo above to register.
